Vacancy Notice
The Spirit Lake Fire Protection District Board of Fire Commissioners will be filling a vacancy on the Board for subdistrict 1. The Board will fill the vacancy at a public meeting on October 9, 2024, at 9 a.m.
Letters of interest for the position need to be in the District office by 4 p.m. on September 30, 2024.
Applicants must have been a resident for at least one (1) year within the boundaries of subdistrict 1 and be registered to vote. To view the district boundaries, please go to District Map — Spirit Lake Fire Protection District or stop by Station #1 at 32182 N. 6th Avenue in Spirit Lake. Applicants must comply with all other state regulations.

The Spirit Lake Fire Protection District’s Board of Commissioners is elected to four-year terms, representing the three subdistricts within the District’s boundaries. As the governing body of the Fire District, the board manages and conducts the business and affairs of the District in accordance with Idaho Code Title 31, Chapter 14.
Public Board meetings are held on the second and third Wednesday of every month at Station 1, 32182 N 6th Avenue, in Spirit Lake, Idaho, unless otherwise noted. The meetings begin at 9 a.m.
